Updates to the world of Draconica

It’s been a while since I last did an update blog, so I decided today to let you guys know what’s happening in the world of Draconica at the moment.

First of all, some bad news. Some of you may have noticed that I’ve not posted anything about Final Ragnarok: He Returns, which is to be the last novel in the Draconica series. Unfortunately, the reason for this is that, due to circumstances beyond my control, Final Ragnarok: He Returns has been put on hold indefinitely. Don’t worry, the novel has NOT been cancelled – it’s just been put on hold whilst I sort a few more things out. So those who were on tenterhooks from Final Ragnarok: She Returns and wondered how it will end, you’re just gonna wait a bit longer I’m afraid.

But fear not! For those wanting their Draconica fix, The Dragonkin comic is still going on webtoons. In fact more episodes have been added in so you can see how the fight between Mordak and Zarracka goes on. To see more episodes, head over to:

The Dragonkin on Webtoons

And while you’re there, why not check out Alexis M Centeno’s thriller comic Grandpa. It’s doing really well and is in with a chance of winning!

And finally, the big announcement – it was recently announced via Paper Crane Books that Amanda Moonstone: The Missing Prince now has a release date of 24th February! I have also been handed the final manuscript to work through and my artist is just working through the final bits of artwork for it. I am REALLY excited about this, guys and can’t wait for the book to be out.

But if you want a little taste of what to expect, I have just released a sample chapter of the book on my Patreon page. So if you’re a patron you can read it before anyone else! Head over to my Patreon page to see for yourself.

More updates to come as and when they are released. Watch this space!

Taking a Little Break

Hey guys, due to work related convention that I'll be attending all of next week, I'll be putting this blog on hold for a little bit. I'll hopefully be able to update it again when I'm back.

In the meantime, I am pleased to say now that my latest novel, Taurok's War is now available on ebook formats - so those of you with kindles and nooks can rest easy now. Pop over to Amazon to get your copy now for less than $2.00!

Have a great week guys, speak to you all again when I'm back!

Back In Action!

Phew! Well what a busy couple of weeks I've had! Feels like I've not had a chance to rest at all! :p

Anyway, so now after a little break, I am back. And boy what a fortnight it was! After getting back from my holiday, I visited the Nine Worlds Geekfest 2013 and spent my weekend amongst some of the greatest fans of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Steampunk and Comics! I had a lot of fun and met some wonderful people - and even debuted the paperback of Legacy of the Dragonkin and Taurok's War.

To see some pictures of the events, click on the picture below.

Thanks to the guys and gals for having me and making sure I was looked after. I even got to stay at the hotel it was held at and had pancakes for breakfast - yum!

Anyway, some updates - I got a lot of stuff planned for this blog coming up, including some more Top Fives and other stuff. I also plan to get ALL my outstanding reviews done by the end of the month, so if you are waiting on a book review for me (and I've accepted), then I will aim to finish your books soon. Hopefully I can open up my submissions again soon for reviews!

I'd also like to hear from your view guys - what do you want to see more of on this blog? More Top Fives? Writing tips? Pointless banter. I was also thinking of doing a special "fan art" page for some commissions I've had done for my Draconica work. What do you guys think of that? Leave a comment below if you like to see anything in particular.

Also, be sure to check out the new and improved Draconica wiki! I've been making some changes to it and I think it looks pretty cool! I'll try and update it as often as I can, but in the meantime, I'd love to hear your feedback on it as well!

That's it for the moment. Cheers for reading guys. Speak soon!

Teaser Look - Artwork for the Legacy of the Dragonkin paperback

Hey guys, sorry for the inactivity recently - been extremely busy with several things lately, work related mainly!

With the paperback of Legacy of the Dragonkin well on its way to completion within the next few weeks (it will debut at the upcoming Nine Worlds Geekfest 2013, so head towards my previous blog posts for tickets and information!) I'd tohought I'd give you all a teaser into some of the art that will be displayed in the book.

As some of you know, my previous artist Alexis M Centeno had to leave the project due to other committments, but her art will survive and appear in the novel. I'd like to showcase some of the work done by my amazing artists, Christina DeVille and Brenna Albert, who both stepped in to complete the artwork and it has been a joy to work for them! Check out some of the art they have done for me. For those who have read the ebook of Legacy of the Dragonkin, see if you can guess which scenes these are from!

I'm really excited about this book and I hope you guys are to! If you want to get a paperback copy early, then head down to the Nine Worlds Geekfest 2013. The book will also be made availalble for release online shortly afterwards.

Watch this space, more updates to follow!
